How to make a logo in illustrator:


I chose this video because other classes have done this in the past, and I believe we will too. It will help me prepare for class. Kelvin shows you how to download fonts you can use for your logos. He shows how to do many at once so you can see which font you like the best. He said a good logo is a logo that can work in any scenario like simple lines and hard edges.

I chose this one because I am a beginner in illustrator and found that game we played in class a bit difficult. So this was a more in depth version of how to manipulate points and such when making custom shapes! He also shows you how to add custom properties to your shape!

Adobe Illustrator Tutorial: Create a Vector Pizza from Sketch (HD)


I chose this video on how to make a Vector pizza based off a sketch because 1 I love pizza but also 2 I found it interesting how he managed to create that. It was interesting learning what you can really do in illustrator and how to do it.

Id Homework 1

  Tutorial 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eqhUFRlvgI In this video he creates a food ad/layout. What i found interesting is how he uploaded images and used tools to add them onto the canvas. Instead of certain tools i found it interesting how he manipulated the images to fit the size and shape of the canvas. Tutorial 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7MIKi663ok In this tutorial she taught us how to use many tools. The one i found most interesting is how she used the rectangle frame tool to insert an image to the size you want it on your canvas. I think this will help me in my future projects so i can create different collages and such. Tutorial 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9D_0UQrOhA This tutorial was extremely helpful! Since our next project is creating business cards using our logo's... he showed us hot to add our logo to the canvas. He showed many other tips and tricks with the text box tool. It really showed me in an easy way how to do this next project!
